regarding simatic wincc

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	importing technical question of a user Sir, I had just joined my new job.before joining i have done ane small automation course in schneider .but the company i joined is siemens system integrator .so i have to adapt myself to siemens softwares.i have told to work in scada department.so i have started with simatic wincc.the manuals i have got from your website is not enough for me.i mean i want some examples of small projects(basic manuals also like how to link a button with a lamp(on/off),if u can provide).plz guide me that how should i progress in scada(hmi,mmi). i will wait for ur reply thanks

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, Have you seen the "Getting started' guide? The link I posted is for v6.2... It'll show you basic configuration steps... If that's not enough, you could search for a local Siemens authorized Training Center.... A basic training would show you the modules within WinCC (Graphics Designer, Alarm Logging, Tag Logging....), their specific functions and how to configure that. You'll also probably be prompted to create small example systems, with basic features... that's what we get students to do in our trainings, in my company anyway... Once you're in touch with a training center, you may also need some specific more advanced training, to develop more advanced projects... You local salesperson may indicate you a good Training Center near you. Anyway... I think that would probably help you a lot... For example projects, you can access Salma's site: wincc.net. But those aren't basic projects, like you need. Best regards, Danielle
