AutoGen_kite Member Joined: 4/4/2016 Last visit: 11/25/2020 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	HI, i can execute some commands, but node-red doesn't work ,finally i perform the command npm install -g --unsafe-perm node-red to reinstall the node-red,then input IP address:1880, and display the web interface.but there is one problem, it cant autostart after reboot the device. input iot2050setup, the selection of autostart node-red has been ticked. I can't deal with this problem, so i want to reinstall the image 1.0.3. thank you

When updating node-red with the -g flag, it will install node-red in /usr/local/bin. The existing node-red is located in /usr/bin. You need to adapt the systemd service to start the new node-red nano /usr/lib/systemd/system/node-red.service change the path after ExecStart from /usr/bin/node-red to /usr/local/bin/node-red Reload the service with systemctl daemon-reload Reboot the IOT Best regards!

I can manually start node-red but mraa-gpio are now missing... When I started node-red manually, I have this: I used the example image V1.0.2 on IOT advanced.... I think I will reinstall the image from beginning.. Thank you in advance...

I need to clarify if there is the need to move them to another place or to create some link.. EDIT: Procedure to have the IOT2000 nodes with an updated node-red: node-red is started manually with node-red: cp - r /usr/lib/node_modules/mraa /root/.node-red/node_modules cp -r /usr/lib/node_modules/node-red/node_modules/node-red-contrib-intel-gpio /root/.node-red/node_modules node-red.service has been updated to start the updated node-red with autostart: cp - r /usr/lib/node_modules/mraa /home/root/.node-red/node_modules cp -r /usr/lib/node_modules/node-red/node_modules/node-red-contrib-intel-gpio /home/root/.node-red/node_modules After this restart node-red or the IOT2050. Best regards!
