Hello everyone. I have an application with a belt and an absolute Encoder from Kübler at profibus. In the beginnign of the belt I have a robot that puts on parts. Aftert that I start the frequency converter(G120C) to make a distance between the parts, relative positioning. I use an absolute Encoder to this task, Kübler Sendix 5888 Profibus. In the beginnign I was thinking to use the Motion Control and Move relative, but the Encoder is not supporting Profidrive. Then i made a block to calculate the pulses, where I add pulses to the startvalue. I also check it the value is going trought 0. (The pulses goes from 0-65535 each round) One distance is ca 40000. The block is working well, but somthimes it does not stop, and often at nigth when I am not around. I can not find any fault, maybe someon have a block that is workin 100%? ![]() Attached is the program block. Do someone have a idea to what is wrong or other solutions?
