I have a project with different network. See attachment. 

The HMI is connected to the "local network". 

I have a VPN access on the "customer network".

Download to the HMI works perfectly via port forwarding. 

But remote access (TIA simulation or SmartServer) does not work . 

Is it possible in this situation? What should be done ?

On the other hand, you can give us more information such as, the smart server works being in the same network to rule out that it is a VPN problem.

My PC and the HMI are not in the same network. 

I want to know if I can still access it via portforwarding in the PLC.
