Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hi, the Ethernet interface of the S7-1200 PLC is an regular Ethernet Port supporting standard TCP/IP. Yes the PLC can be access remotely by using TCP/IP and TCP/IP routes. For remote access via TIA Portal an extended TCP will be used which is using the TCP Port 102. If you have Firewall or routers check that this TCP Port will be forwarded and then you can access the PLC from other subnet.

Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hi, what do you mean with sample? You have to configure the PLC with IP address Subnet Mask and the TCP IP Router in this network. In step 7 you have to select the local network adapter with his IP Settings. If it is not working try to ping the PLC first. If this is not working you have some trouble with your IP Settings. If this is working and you can't access the PLC contact Network admin and let check if the TCP Port 102 is released on the router / Firewall.
