Remote accessing S7-300 and S7-200

NPSK Posts: 70 Rating: (0)	Dear all One of customer having 3 S7-300 (CPU 314 (2) CPU 315-2DP(1)) and S7-200 (CPU 226). They wants 24-Hrs. Service. i.e They are 400 Km. faraway from our place. They wants the service thro remote access . Is it possible. If yes then where we can find the hardware details and how to connect. Thanking you

Make sure the PLC got ethernet interface. Let the costumer supply you VPN access and a static IP. As said, this is the easiest and fastest solution. 2. Make sure the PLC got an ethernet interface. Supply a GPRS (3g, 3.5g, EDGE) Gateway. I use the VIOLA EDGE router. http://www.violasystems.com/products/products_arctic_gprs_gateway.htm 3. TeleService. Gives you a dial in connection. Not very hard to set up. I use all three solutions. Hope the answer helps! Ton
