Hi,

I need help regarding remote control  of a TP700 Comfort connected to1214C, wich the idea is to have the "screen" of the TP700 in a PC and  a smartphone to monitor and/or control the machine, something never worked with before.

The info from Siemens is very diverge and i can not follow a solution to work, nether PC nether smartphone. I tried to have some help from Siemens wich told me to follow the “Sm@rtClient App Demo Access” for smartphone. At the end, the VPN connection does not connect....and the answer from Siemens was....they sent the prob back to germany because they couldnt connect ether. Thousands of users and no complains?

The only thing i manage to was to control the TP700 with the smartclient on the PC, only with the TP700 connected to my laptop.

Can someone help with the task? How can i remote control de TP700 with a pc and another solution for smartphone?

We work also with SmartServer and Comfort Panels.

The TP700 Comfort supports up to 3 Smartclient connections at the same time. So yes it is possible to access the Panels from a PC and at the same time from a Smart Client app from Mobile Phone.

At our local network it works without problems. Do you have tested it in local network also? if it works here then the function is basically OK. Then the only Problem should be the network connection and Ports from "outside". Do you try to do a ping from Mobile Phone to the Panel? or from the Panel to the Mobile Phones IP? (For Mobile Phones there are apps for ping, and on Panel you can use the commandline)

In my local network it works fine, both in the smartclient for PC as in the app for android.

But i need to connect to the TP700 from the outside. As i have seen, i need to make up a VPN connection, wich i never have and i not sure it will work. Any idea or tutorial?

We have a few connections with Ewon Devices they work in a simple way and als with SmartServer

Opening the port 5900 in the isp router i can log in the android app and visualize my hmi TP700 over internet.

You said you work with ewon cosy router vpn server, but how does it works properly?

It allows you to connect both with app to visualize the hmi and you may connect to plc with tia online for troubleshooting? is it possible?

Besides the cost of the ewon router, do you need any payed service? Or the ewon server gives you the files to connect  plc/tp700 over a client in pc? Its as openvpn?
