m.ridolfi Regular Member Joined: 6/30/2015 Last visit: 4/13/2025 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Goodmorning, I'have to remove a motor under a G120 inverter (PM240 1.5kW + CU240E-2 DP-F) that has a cyclic comunication with a simotion by profibus. What I have to do is remove the motor under the inverter keeping the old control by simotion, so from simotion in profibus will arrive run command, rpm reference and so on without making any alarm. So my problem is to keep the same software without raising any technological fault on simotion modifying only parameters on drive. I don't know what simotion check on drive communication when I enable the drive, maybe can I change the telegram to emulate something? I can put the speed reference to 0 from simotion so if simotion check the actual speed will be always 0. Thank you Best regards Matteo

When drive has an error, Bit 3 in Statusword1 is high and Simotion check it. Normally when no motor is connected error occur after enabling drive. When it is possible to avoid this error, it could be possible.
