Hello Everyone,

I am using TIA Step-7 V11.

I have common logic in FB which i have used many times in my logic as Multi instance of FBs.

Now in the Instance DB of that logic FB i want some part to retain like Timers, Counters , etc.

I Dont want to retain Commands like Pump start ,Valve open etc..

But when i remove mark for retainfor some byte or bit whole multi instance retain option disapears.

and on select retain option enables for all the multyinstance..

pl help...

Is your multi-instance set up for symbolic or absolute (compatible) addressing?

You may have to change it, if portal will allow the change (while offline of course). In symbolic mode, you have better control over what is retained individually.
