i have a system with 6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0 i used a one ethernet port only and this card is damaged.

i found 6GK7443-1EX11-0XE0 in our stock, i try to replace it with the damaged one but the message appear said that"slot is occupied module is too wide or the functionality"

can i replace from 6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0 to 6GK7443-1EX11-0XE0? and how?

the 1EX11 is the predecessor of the 1EX20. If the 1EX11 supports every function that is used, it should work. but you have to customize your project, HW-Config, etc.

the normal behavior is to upgrade 1EX11 to 1EX20. There is a FAQ about the upgrade. You are trying to downgrade, but maybe it has some information for you that you should know:

How can i use the EX11 in EX20 slot?

is i must delete the card from hardware and insert the new card?
