Both my PLCs which work as master and standby are install with CP443-1 comms card model 6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0 (firmware v2.1). As 1 of the PLC comms cards were faulty, can it be replace with the same comms card model but with a different firmware version;v2.4?

do you use STEP 7 V5.5 SP4?
As of SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.4 SP4 the module can be configured with version V2.0, although it is FW 2.4

Cause it seem that there isn't any manual for v2.4.
