After reading the configuration profibus-DP node application note I need to know that do I need to do the access to process data (4.2)  configuration also  for directly read and write in the process image and add sfc 14 and sfc15 as shown in example

Also was that done for 750-303 before to access data? Because there are no sfc's 14 and 15 in the program now.

The other I/O modules type on the Interface Panel of Wago  are followings which are at present with 750-303 bus coupler

750-400 DI

750-602 supply input

750-517 relay output

750-554  AO

750-600 end term

If I am not able to add the new module how to I revert back all changes?

1- You do not require SFC 15 and SFC 14 every time you want to access IO on a Profibus-DP  node. You need these SFC only if you need to access the IO "consistently", that means as a single unit. I have seen this only with specific drives, for telegram access.

Your original program seemed to access the IOs on the original 750-303 through direct connection. Look at the sample Profibus configuration for a 7509-333 taken from the application note I suggested earlier. In your program, use the addresses (Input and Output) as defined on the table next to each IO module, as if they were part of the CPU's hardware configuration.

2- I am not sure I understand the question. If you mean that you are not able to switch a 750-303 head module with a 750-333 while leaving the existing IO modules intact, then I agree that it is not possible.

Which is why I had suggested you printed out the Profibus configuration page for the 750-303 to be replaced, then delete the slave  in the master's Profibus configuration, insert a new 750-333 as a slave on the Profibus line of the master (with the same Profibus address as the deleted 750-2303) and add the the IO modules you have to the 750-333. You might have to do some adjustments in the Profibus configurator to retrieve the same IO addressing as you had in the 750-303, but you should be able to figure it out. Or rewire your program to use the new IO addressing.

Which Parameters assignment I need to change? I have to change the profibus node address also as per the pin on module

I really do not understand your question.

You have access to the old configuration (with the 750-303), you should have access to the actual modules in your configuration... simply select le correct part numbers of the modules and add them to the module slots in the Profibus configuration for the 750-333.Follow the order of the modules that you showed in the old configuration.

Once this is done, Print out the configuration of the modules on the 750-333 so you remember the I/O addressing provided by the configurator (change it if there is need) so you can access the modules in the user program.

Follow the example you can find in the application note link provided in an earlier post. See the attachment for an example.

We have a client who has 750-303 No. is 34010502---B030303 and is replacing with 750-333 Firmware loader is 03.

Do I need to replace the I/O, and relay also or only the field bus coupler will be sufficient as I can only put modules from 730-333 standard catalogue and the older 750-303 Fw 02 is not available in catalogue ? Would the 750-303 modules be compatible with 750-333 bus coupler?

The older Modules installed with 750-303 are as under

750-602 supply input   = 2

750-554  analog output =12

750-400  digital input = 4 X 2 =8

750-517  relay output = 28

750-600 end terminal = 1

And in the Simatic manager its shown in attachment.

Also I can't find 750-600  end terminal in 750-333 modules. What is the replacement for this?
 

Please provide step by step procedure.

I feel I have given you most of the information you need to do this configuration. There is a point whare you must do the work, and show us what you have done before asking for more help.

Print out the screenshot of the sample I provided last and the 8 di wago image you attached a few posts ago.

In your Profibus configurator catalog, open the Wago section, an click on the cross to the side of the 750-333 section (you msut see that if the gsd file was properly inserted). You should then see a list of available IO modules from Wago that you can then drag to the main configuration screen for the 750-333. See the modified screenshot below.

Notice that you can drag more than one IO module of the same part number to the 750-333 configuration. So if you have 12 nos. 750-554 analog output modules, drag the same part number from the catalog 12 times. Note the input/output addresses that are provided the configurator, these are the addresses through which your program will access these module channels. You can change them in the configurator to match your old configuration, if these  addresses do not already exist (this is where some gymnastics are required if the addresses have been attributed elsewhere).

Note that in the Profibus catalog the power supply modules and the termination module (75--6xx) are not available, and they do not need to be included in the Profibus configuration; they serve no purpose for the communications.

If you need more help, provide screenshots of what you have attempted to do., and the problem you encounter. No more theoretical help will be provided.

As Per my conversation with Wago they have replied as followed as I did ask the same question from them too

I am a little concerned with the node layout as the 750-333 will only provide 1800mA for the I/O modules and the 750-517 consume 90mA EACH.

The 750-303 is still available (it only provides 1650mA).'

Could you please verify . I shall be thankful. Because the site is far away from office so I want that my theoretical information is complete and updated.
