Dear jvebed, I agree with you that it would be a very time consuming process. However there's one more trick that I hope (90% sure) it will work with you. 1- Archive your current project. 2- Open your hardware configuration with modules you want to replace. 3- Go to Station > Export and save the hardware configuration in a certain location. 4- Go to this location and open the configuration file with Word Pad. 5- Use find function (CTRL+F) to find 6ES7151-1AA01-0AB0 and replace it with 6ES7151-1AA05-0AB0 and don't forget to save. 6- Now, either to work with the same project and delete everything in your hardware configuration or to create a new one and move your user program to it. 7- In hardware configuration window go to Station>Import and import the modified hardware configuration file. 8- You will see some errors, ignore them and save and compile and make sure everything is OK. 9- You may find it necessary to modify1AA05 default parameters to be the same as of 1AA01. Try it and I think it will work. I almost faced the same situation in a project with almost 800 PA transmitters whenwe discovered that 90% of PA transmitters were configured with old GSD files and I must tell you that this trick saved our neck in commissioning. Best regards. H-H |
