Replace of a broken starter motor Siemens SXLCO

I would like to ask the specialists here about a replacement of a broken starter motor Siemens SXLCO - for the 5 HP fan of HVAC air handler. The fan motor is 3 phase, 10 Amp, 208-240 V AC. I am told that the new Siemens unit would cost close to 1,000 dollars. which is prohibitive to me. What can I do? is there a less expensive way? THANKS
