R&H CO. Posts: 67 Rating: (0)	hi everyone. is there any special way for replace CPU 312IFM (312 5AC00-0AB0) with (312 5AC02-0AB0) cause i have upload the program from the old CPU and replace it from the HW config but it dosen`t go to RUN mode best regards

Have you tried a Master Reset (with the front key of the CPOU, max. right 2 seconds, release, right 10 seconds until the LEDs stop flashing)? Can you go online with the new CPU? have you tried opening the diagnostic buffer to see what is not acceptable in the downloaded programfor the CPU? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

Posts: 67 Rating: (0)	dear dchartier thank u for the replay i think the upload is not complete cause HW cnfig show the CPU with it`s order number but the other module( AI DI ...) don`t show the order number just it`s name this is an attachment for the uploaded program . by the way when i open the new CPU Online in HW config it show to me only yhe CPU without any module . How do you update the STEP 7 hardware catalog in STEP 7 V5.2 onwards? What version off Step7 you have there? To change CPU, you have only to right-click on CPU (in hardware config)and select replace, then choose the New CPU in the list, save and compile and download hardware and program in new CPU . Posts: 67 Rating: (0)	dear Marcjan i don`t think that the problem in HW cuse the i have the module order in my cataloge and i replace the CPU in the way u told me also i have replace the ??? in each module with it`s order number the same on the rack . but when i open ONline it dosn`t appear only the new CPU ?? i begin to feel that the new CPU dosen`t work correctly !!!!!
