Replacing a new CP341 RS422/485

louiscim Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, experts I have a problem about replacing a CP341. The another communication side is a rocket port RS422. The HW config is PS <>CPU315<>CP315-2<>CP341<-------->Rocket port RS422 The CP315-2 is connected to RIO through Profibus. I cannot established the communication link between the new CP341 and Rocket port RS422. When I get in the Parameters setting, it only shows 3 protocols (ASCII, RK512, 3964R). Whcih one I should choose. And How aboutthe Modbus Slave ? In what HW config, I should choose "modbus slave". Best Regards, Louis

how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Dear louiscim, You must install the modbus slave software and remember to plug in the dongle key. Then you should be able to have the option in your step7 to select modbus slave. Please see my attach. Hope these help. with regards, how come? Attachment CP341.zip (147 Downloads)
