Daniel1983 Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Hi all! I have a query about reporting alarms in WinCC. Is it possible to print in a report the "time in", "time out" and "duration" of an alarm in one row of a table? It seems difficult since the "came in" and "Went out" events trigger messages which are not related to each other. If it is not possible using Report Designer, are there any WinCC options which would allow for this functionality. Thanks.

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, You could use an option (e.g. Connectivity Pack) to find the duration... You could even export this database and query it as you need.. Take a look at this and this post, which isn't entirely related, but may help. Best regards, Danielle

Daniel1983 Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Thanks for the replies! I canaccess the duration of an alarm from its "Went Out" message using standard WinCC. But what I really want is togather the data from the "Came In" and "Went Out" messages to create a line in a report with"time in" "time out" and"duration". Perhaps PM-Analyze will do the job, but after reading the "PM-Analyze System Description" document I am still unsure. Has anybody implemented this functionality with either the Connectivity Pack or PM-Analyze? I have not used either package before, so would like some input from other users first. Thanks again!

Daniel1983 Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Having read this document (https://www.automation.siemens.com/hmi/html_76/pdf/doku/sb_winbde_e.pdf), it seems that WinBDE may be the package which does what I want. Does anybody have any experience with WinBDE and can comment on its ease of use and so on? I don't have much experience with SQL and databases in general.
