I would like to creat a button to reset an archive. Which funcion should i use in the script and how to configurate it?? |

Tag Logging is designed to log data automatically from process tags. It records time series data, meaning that it records the value, the timestamp and the quality. Tag Logging data is designed to be viewed on a trend or tabular format. It is part of the basic WinCC system. User Archives is an option for WinCC and requires a separate licence. User Archives is for manual user logging. You can configure the layout of the data, what is recorded, update and delete records. User Archives can be displayed in a grid format. Now back to your question [:D] ... what do you mean by reset the archive? Do you want to clear out the historical data ? If so then this is not very easy or practical in WinCC. In the editor Tag Logging ->Archive Configuration you specify how much and how long to store the tag logging data for. WinCC will then automatically start deleting older data when these thresholds are reached. It is not really possible to specify sizes for individual archives - this is not how V6 works. Can you explain why you need this feature and maybe we can offer an alternative solution. |
