Reset cpu

dear all

if im trying to clear/reset plc cpu314 (PLC>diagnostic/setting>clear/reset)

some blocks not clear and when im trying to download blocks a massage apear that blocks already exist .do you want to overwrite it

why if im trying to reset must all block delete from PLC

because working memory is full

so i want to delete all block and want empty PLC from the zero to download my program

im inset this memory to simatic field pg m4 and open simatic manager step7 v5.5

and then open(file>s7 memory card>open)

the massage apear missing EEPROM 

Why....?

may be someone try to open it by computer and formatted it ,i don't know,

so what can i do in this situation

I think you have to buy a new MMC

but why if open load memory and workink memory ok

load memory 35%

workink memory 93%

Hi,

you cannot increase the work memory of the cpu..so try compress and download option so that it deletes all the unused blocks..

after that if u have same problem u need to change the cpu only not the memory since it is only 35%full.

you mean by simatic manager v5.5

hi mr

you can in module information cpu in  tab memory done compress when key switch cpu in state run_p

and button compress exist in tab memory in module information window

this is operation for compress load memory and not work memory 

i hope that solved your problem.
