Hi, I have a couple of UPS1600 PN and a TP1200 connected to a S7-1515 2PN ... I decided to use the ready made faceplates that I found in the support site, using the TIA Portal V14 SP1 version of the library ... https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/78817848 I wanted to use the faceplate "as is" ... that is, no hacking it, or modifying it since I do not need any other functionality than what is already provided ... I do not understand how the closing of the faceplate is supposed to work: the visibility of the elements is controlled by some internal faceplate tags, that have the proper start values (when you start the runtime, the faceplate is visible). You can change the visible tab (there are three tabs) by clicking them (the internal tags change values accordingly) ... But as soon as you close the faceplate with the provided X button, there is no way to change the internal tags anymore, so you cannot "open" the faceplate once more. I could of course hack the faceplate and just get the internal tags in the interface and be done with it, but i feel that I am missing something ... Is there a way to manipulate internal faceplate tags from outside, or to somehow reset them to their initial value without closing the runtime? I am trying to understand how the faceplate was intended to be used ... the documentation provides no clue what so ever regarding this issue (as I can see ..) Thanks, John |
