Reseting Alarm Acknowledgement Bit

SadiqAsgher Posts: 31 Rating: (2)	Hi Experts, Is there any way to reset Alarm acknowledged bit. Actually after acknowlwdgement I want to reset the acknowledged bit and it only resets when new alarm occures. Regards Sadiq

SadiqAsgher Posts: 31 Rating: (2)	Dear Wizard, Thanks for your reply, I already read this material, but the thing is that whenever I aknowledge the alarm it sets the alarm acknowledgement tag and it remain sets the tag until the occurance of new alarm. actualy I am to trigger a timer on the continues basis (On delay Timer) and it requires 0 to 1 transition to re-initiate but with out reseting the alarm tag I can not trigger the Timer . I mean: [code] A ack_bit R alm_bit A alarm_condition S alm_bit AN alm_bit R ack_bit [/code] In that case your ack bit will be reset as soon as alarm is gone. Alarm itself will be set if there is ack bit and no more alarm condition.
