Is it possible resize object with cursor keys in Graphics Designer? Something like Ctrl + cursor key in Protool. Or have you other idea, how do it withoutmouse? |

I guess that you want to make small, precise changes? If so, then you can use the Properties Dialog Box. In the Geometry section you can set the X & Y co-ordinates for the object. Will this do ? Salma |

Hi you could use CTRL+Z for resizing to the former size, after having changed e.g. the size of a button. Or are you struggleing with the grids...? nemo |

Yes, I want to make small, precise changes. I can use Properties Dialog Box to change width or height, but it's time-consuming. |

It is time-consuming but I don't think there is any standard way to use the cursor keys. Now if you have the knowledge you could use the VBA Editor in the Graphics Designer to build this functionality yourself. I am sure there are many ways but here is how I would do it : build a toolbar with four buttons mimicing the cursor keys. Then program each button to modify the geometry settings for the selected object. So left button to decrease width, right button to increase width, up button to increase height, down button to decrease height. Another way would be to program a key logger that detects the cursor keys and writes the correct value again to the selected object. I imagine this would be a trickier but more elegant solution. Sorry I don't have anything concrete but if you get something working please post it here. I am sure others would find it helpful. Salma |
