Restart Axis Causes Drive Enable

sls-automazioni Regular Member Joined: 6/17/2013 Last visit: 3/24/2025 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Goodmorning, We have a problem with Simotion C240 V4.4 HF11: when we search the reference point of axis (Active search) sometimes we need to change some axis parameter, after that we push emergency and then we set "axis.restartactivation.activate_restart": the "drive on" relay in X2 switch on and the axis drifting in open loop. we are in emergency state with the machine. we tried with a new empty software, only with the reference command, but we have the same problem. The same program with software 4.3 run correctly without defect. Someone can help us? SLS Automazioni Luca & Stefano

Drifting is only possible when the enable output-Signal is True. Please have a look to the output signal if the connection comes from X2 . The problem is not occasionally, Every time we set a refercence point of an axis (with active search of reference point) and then we activate the reset axis bit to refresh data (Sure we switch off the machine in emergency state before do that) then the drive enable switch on, without command. Only the the axis we've just referenced. Only after a reference command. With software V4.3 HF12 we don't have problems, only with V4.4 HF11. Attachment MCC_TASK1.jpg (259 Downloads)
