I'm having difficulty getting the result of an asynchronous function to set the dynamisation of a property.
I have created a rather simple asynchronous function to understand how it works:

async function myFunction() {
  let promise = new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
    setTimeout(() => resolve("Done!!"), 1000)
  });
  return await promise;
};

myFunction().then(
  function(value) { return value; }
);

But I can't figure out how to get the results out since outside the async function, the return values is the [Promise Object] and not its result. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

I have same problem. Return value from promise object return nothing.

I temporary solved this with .then/.catch and set internal tag or value inside, this work for me.

Anyway async function not return value in time of call and result can't be check after this function because code are not waiting for function end.
