Reverse turn off motors

When start first, after 2s start second and after 5s start third motor. Now, when stoping i need reverse order of turning off motors, stop third motor, then after 2s stop second motor and after 3s stop first motor. For starting I use TON timer, But how to implement revers order of stoping. Thanks!

In first Network make an initialisation, where all your values has to be set to a safety state. Then start counting a variable step by step. In Step 1, Countervarible is 1. Motor 1 has to be switch ON. If it is on, increase counter to 2. In second step set your timer. If time is over, set counter to 3. In third step switch ON motor 2.....and so on. After last step is done, return to first step. If you did something wrong, you can see by means of the actual counter status, in which network the process stops. You can also program an error analysis in every step. Lot of possibilities. Hope it helps. regards

To make it scale better, create an OB that does motor control loops (to handle multiple motors and scale up easily)forinit, decides if start-up, steady-state,stop-control, or error recovery is required. Createan FB for init, FB for start sequencing, FB for stop sequencing, FB for steady-state, FB for error handlingrecipe for start order timing and stop order timing (so they are somewhat user configurable), or have the timing related to motor speeds with some math to convert Hz/RPM to timer time presets. Then something that takes the start / stop bit for, and does the real motor control based on which motor number is currently in the OB's loop. With TIA Portal, you can have multiple OBs which is nice for making it easy to migrate code that runs every scan without having to add it to OB1. I know the above is very complicated for 3 motors, but for allowing it to scale to a large number of motors, and make it user configurable, using arrays to index through the motor controls and looping the overall control logic makes it easier to write, debug, and add to an HMI (whether the controls are on a startup-only password protected screen, or an added feature a customer can purchase :)
