for my endwork i want to make an automated bridge for that i will use a bosch rexroth servo that i will control via a S7-1200 i established a connection between the plc and the motor but i don't know how i have to control it ( starting the homing, enabling the drive, .....) i already had contact with people with people from bosch rexroth they helped me configure the motor but they didn't know how you could control the motor via a siemens plc. Can anyone help me out ?

Regarding the configuration you have two issues: one is the configuration of the converter and the other is the configuration of the plc.

You make the configuration of the converter with the software Indradrive. You also get basic information how to do this and some reference projects from BoschRexroth. The software is for free.

The configuration of the plc you make of course with TIA. You need the GSDML-file from BoschRexroth for the converter and you also get szandard-communication-function-blocks from BoschRexroth for the Siemens plc.

Once you have this done you can control the converter via plc.

i am using the function block but when i try jogging and drive enable nothing happens ( i am also using new value acceptance to start the jogging) i sometmes get error F4009 (bus failure) don't know if it wil help with anything
