How do you plan to communicate with the CPU: Profibus-DP, Profinet... Just as an example, look at the following manual for FB45 (a downloadable function block for Siemens RFID modules) that could help you with exchanges over Profibus-DP: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21738808 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
