as far as I see it this should be possible. Changing this line topology to a redundant ring topology should work. The only point I can not verify right now is if the restrictionsfor the segment or the network size are being matched with your configuration. This would have to be verified with the manual for the PROFIBUS OLM to see if your network is useable.
