I have 840D on an HBM. The toolchange magazine can be turned manually via a pushbutton for CW and anotherpushbutton for CCW.The toolchanger magazine moves when either button is pressed but stops when let go. This is incorrect. The magazineis then meant to move on to the next tool pot in line when the pushbutton is let go. (This is done via a calculation buffer in the PLC triggered by the RLO negative edge.) I have the PG connected to the PLC for monitoring. FB202 What I have seen is when the positive RLO edge (P) is seen from the pushbutton the magazine turns until the pushbutton is released - this is okay. When the pushbutton is released the negative edge (N) is not being seen. It maybe works once in every twenty times. Howcan the positive edge (P) from a switch work every time but the negative edge (N) from the same switch only works occasionally? The CW switchand CCW switch are seperate switches and they use separate cables backto the ET module. This rules out a hardware issue. Both switches are getting 24VDC and dropping to zero volts across when pressed. The problem is definately the missing negative edge. Any help would be appreciated.
