Hi all, For my project, I have a motor with a rotary encoder on it. I've connected this encoder to an 24VDC counter module of Siemens, My encoder has an A track, and a B track, that are 90° phase shifted. I've connected it to the module like it says in de datasheet, and I will put an image as attachment of the diagram. The PLC I use is an S7-312C with an CP 343-1 module that is uses as IO controller for the PROFINET module, the 6ES7 151-3AA23-0AB0. So in my project, I have to use PNIO_RECV and PNIO_SEND to communicate with the IO device. I can red my inputs and send the outputs on the PROFINET module, but I can't read the encoder value in my program. I am programming in TIA Portal V13. Is there anyone that has experience with this set up? If you need more information, I will provide it. I could give you my project, but I am not foreign English, so my variables, etc are in my native laguage, wich is Dutch. I want to use the encoder in such a way that when my motor spins, the PROFINET module read the pulses of the encoder and that it counts up and down. I wil upload a doc file with several pictures so you will have an idea of what I am talking about. Thanks in advance, Stijn Danneels AttachmentPictures Setup.pdf (347 Downloads) |
