rotary encoder run in PLCSIM simulation software?

sir i am trying to interface rotary encoder with CPU 315-2DP but i dont have FM350-1 module but is it possible if i use the module and run it in PLCSIM simulation software ? attached is the pic of encoder.

The PLCSIM that I know does not have physical input connection with the outside world where you can connect the encoder onto.

Yes , of course 

you can not use tia portal PLCSIM with physical inputs or outputs,

in addition the PLCSIM will not give a right situation about profibus communication,if you think to connect the Encoder by using DP.

The only way is make a real test
