rotary external encoder with (V60 drive) Servomotor using S7 1200

H.J.R Posts: 129 Rating: (0)	Hi Sir, A rotary external encoder is used to rotate the (V60 drive) Servomotor using S7 1200 Plc......Iam facing a problem is external encoder pulse given to servomotor to rotate depend upon the external encoder pulses......means external encoder rotare a 1pulse(1 degree) & the servomotor rotate 10degrees...how to configured it?????????????? Synchronize a external encoder & servomotor is 1:10....

Only an incremental encoderouputs pulses, an absolute encoder doesn't give pulses, its output is a position! So if Janardhan informed us correctly....... it is an incremental encoder.

Hello Gorp, If it is an incremental encoder then it will have a xxxx in PPR (Pulse per Revolution). AsJanardhan mentioned about degrees I was asking if it is a absolute encoder.
