Are you talking about Windows classic/ XP window display style (like the ones you access via Control Panel -> Display)? If that's the case, you just need to change that configuration in Control Panel, and WinCC will assume the changes.

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi Andre, About the window style, WinCC should follow Windows' settings. Did you change your display settings for windows and buttonsto XPstyle in Control Panel? It should work without even re-starting Windows. You also mentioned not being able to open a window for a second time. Is this window opened by a script? If so, did you run APDIAG to check this script for errors? If there are no errors, try doing as Nemo suggested, and create a new project, to check if you can open windows twice in it.

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi, your logfiles look very clean...so I don t see a reason, why you cannot open the window again. so which WinCC version (ServicePack/Hotfix?) are you using? Which microsoft XP (ServicePack) version are you using? Has there been any other software installed after WinCC? Are there any other application running parallel to WinCC? nemo

andre76 Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	thank yuo for the answers, i have resolve the second probrem.... about the windows xp style i have just tried to configure the DisplayProperties -> Apparence-> Windows and buttons-> Windows XP Style ...but when I click in the titeline or the border of the window two or three times the window become like before (in the classic style).

andre76 Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	O.S.version: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2 Software: WinCC V6.0 SP3 ASIA and SEMATIC NET Networking for Industry Edition 2005(all this software wasinclude in the WinCC's packet)... about your question do this examples.... - Create a buttom and a picture window from the object palette - open the buttom's object properties->events, - double click on the mouse action - seta picture in the Source "Costant"and in the Target set "Object in the picture", - in the object list box set the name of PictureWindow that you have create before - in the list box of properties set "Picture Name" and click ok - in the properties of Picture window set: "title" yes and "CanBe Closed" yes - close object properties of picture window , saveand run - clickthe buttom and after close the Picture windowwith the command in the title -click the buttom for the second time ..... - ifyou see no windowopens maybe you have thesame problemof me - Close runtime - open "properties ->event" of bottom -double click on mouse action - set in the Source "Property" - in the object list box "this object" - in the list box "Property" set Display - in the target set "object in the picture" -in the object list box set the name of picture window -in the "property" list box set Display - click ok and close the bottom properties - open the propereties of the picture windows - set theproperty "picture name" with a name of a picturethat exist - set property "display" no -save and run -click the buttom -close the window -afterclick the buttom for the second time the window reopened this is whatI did to resolve the problem ....maybe thereare a better ways to resolve ....if you can to explain me.... Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi Andre, The problem you had was with the display properties of the picture window. You enabled the "can be closed" property and closed the picture window. What you can do is write a script to change the picture name, instead of using a direct connection, and at the end of the script set the picture window display to "yes". That would make your picture window visible again.
