i also want to use cp 1242 for telecontrol but i need a router (i imagine a siemens router would be easier to configure) , what router should I choose between these 2 siemens routers, they seem to be similar :

6GK5816-1AA00-2AA2 and 6GK5816-1BA00-2AA2

or do you have a specific router that you can recommand ?

6GK5816-1AA00-2AA2 for analog phone connection (Annex A)

6GK5816-1BA00-2AA2 for ISDN connection (Annex B)

hi, actually i found out that the internet network of the company i work in is not compatible with a dsl modem.

Is it possible to make the cp-telecontrol work with a regular internet connection on the central station (without dsl modem). i can still provide static ip on the central station
