Hi everyone,

I'm using TIA Portal 15.0. My HMI is build on TP700 Comfort but logic was made on CPU 315-2 DP. Is it possible to make PLC Proxy on TIA Portal and make routing connection using ethernet (panel) and profibus dp(PLC)? Could someone refer any manual?

I did a project recently from similar scenario.

You need to do following things

1. Add proxy plc in Tia Portal

2.Import tags from Simatic manager project by Rt click on the Proxy PLC and select simatic manager *plc file

3.Now you get all tags and DB address.

4.Make HMI Program

5.Simulate

The problem is i cannot drag and drop my connecting wire that simply. I need to do some routing connection.

Your trying to connect ethernet/Profinet port of HMI to MPI port of PLC.

 Connect MPI port of both device(Orange port) or change either one device to suit the communication.

stop! what exactly you want to do?
You PLC have not ethernet port, so you can't not connect the Panel with Ethernet to the PLC!

In your case you must use the MPI Interface to connect the HMI with the PLC!

I think Integrated Configuration with WinCC
(TIA Portal) and SIMATIC Manager manual and chapter Routing will do the thing.

please check which other devices are configured in the project with the routing connection!

There must be a device with MPI and Ethernet configured which is a router/Gateway, exactly this device you also need in the tia!

I found out that in our net we use CPU315-2 DP with CP 343-1 Advanced to rout connections. I added it as proxy plc but still dont know how to configure proper settings in "Connections".  When I made connection via Ethernet it takes variables from SR2 instead of SR8. Any advice?
