Routing from ethernet to Profibus ?

(look atAttachment) Can I use this scheme for downloading program from PC to PLC over HMI using routing? From PC(ethernet) over HMI (etheret) to HMI (PROFIBUS) over profibus tu PLC I dont know how to configure this? or if it is posible ... Thanks Attachment CONNECTION.jpg (712 Downloads)

Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hello, unfortunately some given information are not right. It is possible to route S7 protocol via PC Station. This feature is released since SIMATC NET PC Software Version6.0.5. But in this configuration both interfaces of WinCCfleixlbe PC MUST BE IN CONFIGURED mode and shown in station configuration editor. In this case you need SIMATIC NET Licensee for PROFIBUS and also for Ethernet. If you don't usealready the Ethernet interfacein WinCClexible you need additional the Licensee for SOFTNET S7 IE (Softnet PG is not sufficient for this configuration!!!). Other possibility is using IE/PB Link as described.
