Routing in a SIMOTION D

Damian_2007 Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a SIMOTION D425 in a profibus network conection at 12 Mb/s with a TP177B and a CPU315-2DP and I want to connect using the ethernet port in the SIMOTION D425 access too to the PLC and the TP177B, that is to say, "view" the PROFIBUS network but connected in the ethernet port of the SIMOTION D. It is posible to do this ???? What I need to config in the SIMOTION D ??? Please help me, thanks a lot !! Damian

Jerry Posts: 116 Rating: (7)	Hi, if you connect an engineering system / HMI to ethernet, you have got ● S7 routing to the other (master) PROFIBUS interfaces (only if configured) ● S7 routing to the PROFIBUS Integrated ● S7 routing to X1400 on the CBE30 (as of V4.1 SP2) ● S7 routing between the Ethernet interfaces So that means routing for PG- and HMI functions. Damian_2007 Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Thanks Jerry, That I want to do is for example, with my notebook connected to the SIMOTION D425 via ethernet, monitoring the programm running in the CPU (with SCOUT), monitoring the S7 program (using STEP 7) and for example make a backup of the TP177B (using WinCC flex ór Prosave). I only want to connect with my notebook to the SIMOTION D via Ethernet and "see" and use the other devices (CPU 315-2DP and TP177B). Is posible ?

Pls. see the boundary conditions in the attachment Prosave I don't know --- depends on the fact, it it uses S7 services.
