Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hi to all, please observe that RS485 is not PROFIBUS or MPI. PROFIBUS or MPI is using RS485 as physical base, but the telegrams on it are specifying PROFIBUS. Bus times, sequences etc. The adapter must support PROFIBUS too to use it on MPI or PROFIBUS Networks (instead of PPI cable as programming cable). PS: I hope i have understand your question/idea right
