We are using 6ES7972-0AA02-0XA0 not diagnostic repeater i have read in manual "Connection for the RS 485 repeater power supply (pin "M5.2" is the ground reference, if you want to measure the voltage difference between terminals "A2" and "B2"). if no need to measure the voltage difference at A2 -B2 in this condition is the neccessory 24vdc supply..??? How do you determine the topology using the diagnostic repeater and display it in STEP 7 or read it out via the user program? Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
