I have problem with programming MDrive motor MD23 by RS485. I have no idea what is wrong but I cant send any command for moving this motor or receiving actual position.

In attachment You can see main data for this motor, my program etc.

Could any help me with solving program?

It;s possible that connection between CM1241 and motor is not correct but I don't know where I need to start work with problem

I see your cfg ok but problem is that you point with send buffer to only first char/byte from buffer - index 0. You need point to whole buffer like

"Data_block_2".skopiowane

then click to None and key Enter for confirming. This is your solution. Hope you have set same comm settings. Czesc.

Update: I expect your Send/Recv DBs with optimised access so also with Recv instruction you need set with same system your DB to input field. Next thing can be check output statuses like Send DONE or ERROR and same for Recv NDR and ERROR, you can prepare some conditions after your blocks to see if some problem occur or execution of blocks is ok. Keep in mind that you simply can't look to these outputs visually via Monitoring table because they can change through scan cycle time of CPU.

You was right. I've change DB source from [0] to None but  at the moment i don't see any frame for sending (before I saw "M" at least). Mark Send_PTP_Done was changed to true so it looks that works.

Im using CM1241 (6ES7 241-1CH32-0XB0) and I'm not sure that didn't prefmorm correct wiring.

At the moment i have connected:

-TxD- from motor to pin 2 Siemens module (CM1241)

-TxD+ from motor to pin 3 Siemens module (CM1241)

-RxD+ from motor to pin 8 Siemens module (CM1241)

-RxD-  from motor to pin 9 Siemens module (CM1241)

Can anybody give me some information about pin-out of CM1241 module? Its not so clear for me at the moment.

I see probably problem with wiring, you said that you have RS485 but now your wiring consist of 4 wires. Can you confirm? Look again to your CM cfg screen, there you set RS485 which means 2 wire mode. Simply I don't know what your motor requires. All pins connected or only TX+ and RX+ as I expect Data+ and Data- like in 2 wire mode? Pls check this for first in motor documentation or ask supplier of motor. Don't also understand what you mean with - Now I don't see send message. Where you monitor it?

I was checking all of You suggest and the main problem was with connection (mechanical wiring). Manual for motor shows wrong description for Tx+ and Rx+. At the moment all works fine. Thank you again for Tips.
