aleb2 Experienced Member Joined: 7/12/2006 Last visit: 9/22/2023 Posts: 113 Rating: (0)	I have a Runtime on PC and a CPU 222, i m trying touse PCI/PPI USB cable but the comunication doesn t work;i use the same cable to download/monitoring the PLC and it works correctly. can someone help me?

You can only use this cable for a projekt transfer but not for a communication between WinCC flexible PC Runtime and S7-200 PLC. For the PPIprotocol you can use a MPI or DP cable. Bye

I have a connection between S7-200 and Pc industrial via PC/PPI with RS232 interfase, but this Pc industrial doesnt work its COM port, for that reason put a conversor RS232 - USB. Now the Pc industrial have a software Indusoft as scada software. We like to change this software by a WinCC Flexible RT, but using the USB port..... Is this possible???. Thanks. Lima - Peru
