dear all http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28787407 the website say "The CPU 31x C can be parameterized for temperature measurement in the PT100 default range (-200°C to 850°C). Here, a resolution of approx. 1.6°C is achieved. " I think it means the minimal change of measurement is 1.6°C, is that right? How the resolution of 6ES7331-1KF02-0AB0 for RTDmeasurement ? |

Hello Dragonarsty, Module6ES7331-1KF02-0AB0 is 13 bit module. And its Analog Input channels are configrable. When you configure one of them as a RTD (PT100), you have also to select the measuring range. Please have a look on the picture attached. The measuring range is the parameter that responsible on the final resolution from this channel. To know how to calculate resolution, How to get the resolution of Analog InputAnd to know the differences between some of the measuring ranges, please read this thread: Difference between PT100 Standard and ClimateHope this helps. |

Yes, that is right. And using that calculation the resolution is leass then 1°C. About 1KF02 with the same range resolution is around 0.15. Best regards, Hristo MIhalev |
