Hello, Reopening this old thread because I am having the same problem. I have installed wincc prof v13 and then v13 sp1 engineering packages and they are working ok. Now I installed RT prof v13 sp1, the one I received with my runtime license. It installed without any error. But still runtime button is disabled. I found this post saying that before you need to install RT prof v13 before installing RT prov v13 SP1. well I didnt get such massage during installation. Please see attached installed software. This seems little bit odd because RT prof v13 is not downloadable and for using SP1 you have to have v13 as well. So you have to order two DVDs!!! Then what in the case of v13 SP2??? Three DVDs? Please help me understand TIA and what siemens are trying to do with all these versions? Hello Kbv The RT Button works only in a WinCC Advanced RT Projekt!! Not in a WinCC Professional RT Project. If you like to test something you can use the Simulation (here is also a PLC connection possible). If you like to start a productive runtime on your Engineering PC, (Engineering and Runtime is on the Same PC) then you cannot load yourself, you have to use Online-> Download to file system Then you can use the "WinCC RT Start" Applikation to start the Runtime or configure the Autostart. If your Runtime should run on another Computer than the Engineering then you can use a download: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/88780011 Bye Murof |
