runtime simulator not responsive

Andy Moods Posts: 33 Rating: (0)	Hi I have just hooked up my plc only to find that i have the wrong HMI. Sent back and have to wait a further week to test. I have tried to use the runtime simulator but it seems it does not respond to anything i do on the PLC side. Is it even posiible to link the plc to the runtime simulator or is it there to use only with the tag sim, Can anybody please let me know Andy

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 12/1/2023 Posts: 4279 Rating: (1378)	Hi, main tip: go to Setting PG / PC interface (control panel) and set for S7ONLINE access point the same interface that you use to STEP 7 Basic (e.g. TCP/IP (auto) -> ethernet card).
