S-7 1200 connection with S-7 300 (317)

lukemeister Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I have PLC S-7 300 with profinet and profubus interface. To profibus are already connected S-7 200 PLCs. Now I want to add another connection via Profinet with s-7 1200 PLC. How can I make it? If exists such possibility I ask for some kind of step-by-step manual. The S-7 300 PLC is used to download data about production process from machines PLCs.

Therefor u need to define only S7-connection in S7-300 (unspecified; to -> IP Adress of the 1200plc and look in adress detail of thet connection for Rack/Slot: 0/1 and connection ressource 03) => ready Now u can use FB14 FB 15 out of standard library to read out of the 1200 plc and write into 1200 plc. -> example projekt is available under ID: 92269951 kind regards

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello, the easiest way (in my option) is the I-device functionality (using PROFINET) or the open communication ("normal"ethernet communication) with the T-blocks. Therefore, no configuration is needed. Every t-block is called with an unique connection ID, so you can call them more than once in your user program (how often,please look in technical data of CPU) and communicate with several S7-1200...
