S 7 300 CPU Goes to Stop mode - CPU Diagonastic Message details

Dera Experts Plz. find herewith attached one of our CPU diagonastic message details. Details of Problem as follows: CPU goes to stop mode all of a sudden ..we could not able to find reasons...since this CPU was running with no problem for almost 1 year and we checked power supply is through UPS and no problem Kindly advice / suggest the reasons for cpu going to STOP....by analysing the attached Diagonastic message file. Hi, _ Event #10,"Power Failure". You have lost power here to CPU here. _ Event #9: "Inconsistency" CPU goes to Stop mode. _ Event #8: "Illegal memory sub module" This is the cause of staying in Stop after power up but can't be the cause of failure. _ Event #7: "Power backed on" After this, there is request for memory reset. CPU stays in Stop mode for 10 seconds till Mode Key is switched from Stop to Run. Warm restart after that and CPU isin Run mode. Do you have any UPS in your cabinet for protecting the CPU Power fromany failure? Regards, Behnam www.sigmaprocess.ca |

Can ou post the diagonostic buffer so we can see what faults you are getting |
