S110 Brake control with EPOS mode

Hi,

I'm using a sinamics s110 drive : CU305PN with PM240-2 connected to a S7-1214C CPU for positioning tasks and I'd like to manually control the holding brake of my servomotor through the telegram 111, how can I do that ?

Thanks for your answer, I tried to control the brake using the parameters p855/p858 with sina_para function block but the problem is that I get an error when I try to write values !! the reading job is executed without problems !!

You might try the method Siemens uses with Sinumerik controls.  They use bit 12 of Control Word 1 mapped to p855 using BICO.  Then setting bit 12 in the control word will release the brake.

The Sinumerik uses speed control, not EPOS, so it may not work the same...
