S110 error comunication ethernet or usb-232 adapter

Hi i have this hardware 

power module 340 6SL3210 1SB14 0AA0 ver B01

CU305 PN  6SL3040 0JA01 0AA0 FW 04.40.23

i can't communicate with starter 4.5.1 with SSP sinamic S110 4-4

when turn on the RDY light become orange, link1 and link2 are green, act1 and act2 are orange, all other lights are off.

1. i tried connect an ethernet cable from CU to laptop but the PC port not detecte

2. I tried connect an adapter usb-rs232, a Null cable Modem in port X22 but unsuccesfully

please give me any suggest.

i connected just one port 150 from CU305 to laptop using ethernet port using ethernet cable, but the laptop not recognized the link. i can look that the lights of link1 Act1 and link2 Act2 forever show light "on" state.

Sorry to dig out this "old" thread, but I got the same identical problem and I read this topic where they poster said "solved", without explaining how .

Since I lost lot of hours in tests and checks, I can say that this problem can come from a faulty Power Module. If the PM is faulty (with some specific faults, not all faults) it can "brick" the CU, which starts showing the RDY orange fixed, the LNK/ACT leds enlightened and nothing else. IT does not responds to 232, to PING, to PronetA, nothing. It's like a brick with a LED orange ON.

Also trying to insert SD card with a different firmware does not appear to work/have effects.

The solution I found is to plug that CU in a working PM and magically the CU reanimates, allowing to communicate, reparametrize, ecc ecc.

It's a pity that CUs remains bricked in that way, leaving the technician almost nothing else than looking a RDY led on... Maybe in the future a RESET button somewhere , siemens guys ;) ?
