I am working on sinumeric  S110 servo CU305-PN control unit with 1500 PLC, i need sample program for position control.

in the application examples is nothing for that.

but is easy.

you install the gsd of s110 in tia, insert the s110 from the catalog and create the telegram.

then you create a to axis and interconnect it with S110 drive object.

now you can use the technology motion commands to control the s110.

i am using 1511F PLC, I not able to understand safety integration via profisafe and terminal safety configuration. i need clarification between two type of configuration? Which one is best method of safety configuration? and advantages?

i need sample program with motion control block for servo position control it may useful to me.

 S110 servo configuration is possible in TIA V15.1..? or Starter software only possible..? 

It's my understanding that the CU305 will never be integrated into Portal StartDrive. You can use the GSD method as suggested but you're going to need Starter or Scout Classic installed on your system and jump between them and Portal.

if you want to use Portal V15 and up, it's better at this point for new projects to use the S210 (or use V90 PN if you cannot get a large enough motor yet in the S210 line in your region). Act now before your project gets too far.

Please do not rank my answer low even if it makes you angry. We used CU305 PN in the past because that's all we had. Now there are better and easier to commission systems.

A local Siemens rep can help you set up the S110, as Siemens will support what they sell, but I'm stating this from a practical sense that it's not easy to set up the S110, especially since you want to use integrated safety.

I can enforce the other writers as well.

1) using S210 or V90PN would be the better way nowadays (if you haven't bought the S110 so far), because it is easier to integrate to TIA Portal and the Technology objects

2) independent on the drive you use, I recommend to use telegram 105 in the drive and technology objects for positioning on the SIMATIC side

3) for safety I recommend to use a safe telegram (e.g. telegram 30) and using the ready to use library "LDrvSafe" in the safety program of the PLC to control all the necessary safety functions that are activated on the drive. The library contains blocks for each safety telegram and makes it very simple to control the functions of the telegram. Please check this out:
