S110 Telegram 111, Command open brake

Totostyle Advanced Member Joined: 1/19/2017 Last visit: 10/15/2024 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm using a S110 like a basic positionner with a S7-315 2PN/DP CPU. and a servo motor with 24VDC brake (1fk7032-2ak71-1rh0). i've been inspired by the application example: (FB283) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/58703073/sinamics-s%3A-positioning-of-a-s110-using-s7-300-400-(step-7-v5)-with-profinet-profibus-and-safety-integrated-(via-profisafe-and-fail-safe-inputs)?dti=0&lc=en-WW i have used the same application with an other motor (without Brake) and it works correctly Is it possible to set the command open brake (r0898.7) and reset the command close brake (r0898.14) via the standard telegram siemens 111. When i try to Jog +/- i have an error du to the Brake whitch doesn't open. Thanks for your help. PS:1215=1 (motor holding brake acc. to sequence control) #p855, #p858,

The brake is controlled by sequence control so the SINAMICS in gives all control commands. If you want to use the parameters p858/p855 you have to use a customized telegram, but I wouldn`t recommend it. Have a look at the function diagrams in the list manual. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/109476011/en You can find the diagrams for sequence control and brake control. I would recommend to check what signal is missing to open the brake.
